About The Culinary 
School Uganda

The Cooking School Uganda is a duly licensed and registered specialized culinary educational institution in Uganda, under the Ministry of Education and Sports. The school is fully accredited and registered by the Directorate of Industrial Training and offers Uganda Vocational Qualifications Framework (UVQF) competence-based assessments in levels I to III under the centre No: UVQF/592 It evolved from a small school, which started in 2014 to a now fully fledged educational institutional with adequate facilities for the training and skilling of all categories of Ugandans in need of skills development in the Tourism and hospitality field.

The school, often times working as a technical partner institution,responds to the needs of the Ugandan society, supporting development partners on research and business development. Our interventions are informed by a “bottom up” community development strategy that empowers all Ugandans through customized skilling programs, research, innovations and inventions in tourism and hospitality.

The aim of the interventions is not only to fulfill the funding partners’ needs but to ensure that beneficiaries and their local communities are self-reliant in their day-to-day requirements. Throught this, the school is contributing immensely to Socio-economic development of Uganda. Also With a focus on promoting the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Uganda’s Vision 2040, The Cooking School Uganda Limited is greatly involved in championing income generating activities that give Ugandans an opportunity to be gainfully employed, to earn, be able to meet their needs and develop themselves.
